Yes it’s been awhile, but I’m getting back in the swing of things. I wanted to come back on here to share some homeschooling tips for preschool age children for parents who are forced to homeschool their kids. I also wanted to share fun activities that you can do in your backyard with your kids so you don’t feel like you are lock in the house all day. Lastly I wanted to be a positive space for you all to come and get away from the social media that’s constantly talking about the virus.
Quick life updates we are not traveling outside the country this year for obvious reasons, however we did decide to plan a family tent camping trips to bond with one another and explore the great outdoors. Speaking about travel some of y’all might all ready know about our traveling vlog channel. I have been uploading vlogs about our traveling adventures, so if you want to see more check us out on YouTube and follow us on instagram!
For my friends who have reached out messaged me asking how we are doing during this time, THANK YOU. Honestly we are doing great. We have a deep freezer in our garage and keep it stocked with meats or other food items. We always go bulk shopping, so when people were going crazy in the stores I just picked up a few things (fresh fruit, bubbles, milk, eggs, and in home gym equipment lol because why not ). We have a garden so we grow our own fresh veggies in our backyard.
I hope all is well with y’all! If you have extra time please feel free to watch my latest vlog below.
Happy Friday! It’s been almost been a year sense I blogged, I haven’t done much blogging on my YouTube channel either. I am actually thinking about stop doing YouTube because my life have gotten such much more busier and it doesn’t seen like something I could keep up. However I do remember how much fun it is to interact with people from around the world. One day I’ll get my grove back & start vlogging again.
My last post was of me going though labor at the hospital. Now it may seem silly to most people to blog while having contractions, but for me it was a good distraction. My son will be turning one soon😭 and I can brealy hold back the tears. I just love him so much 😍. Its been such an exciting ride watching my little infant turn into a toddler.
I have been exclusively breastfeeding my little one, which has been going fairly well for me. I really believe my secuss with breastfeeding has to do with all the breastfeeding classes & research that I involved myself in. Every body is different and I can only speak from my own personal experience. I also cloth diaper my son which I absolutely LOVE. Yep I’m a breast feeding, cloth diapering, co-sleeping, baby wearing mama! I’m loving every minute of it.
I’ve been working on creating play spaces for him in our townhouse. We were not in the baby making business and my pregnancy was a huge surprise to Ken & I. With all our glass coffee tables, drink bars, etc. We had to come up with situations that will fit our growing baby needs. I created a duck theme bathroom which was inspired by his 6 months photo shoot. I will be sharing a full tour of his duck bathroom soon. Below you can see grandpa hanging up picture frames for me. 🦆
I’ve also been working on being more productive and organizing my time better. I have totally stuck at focusing and not completing tasks before hand & don’t want to contuine that any longer. I try not to be so hard on myself because being a mama is a full time job alone that never ends.
If y’all have any tips please feel free to share them below.
Thanks for being oh so patient with me and contuine to support my blog. I’m going to get up from this sofa before I fall asleep. 😴
I have not been a good blogger and I am wounding when I can become consistent and stick to a simple schedule. Anywho…..how have y’all been? I have been sooooo busy (no this is not an excuse or a reason why I have not been blogging) these last two months. We celebrated New Year Eve in Florida with friends, packed up our old townhouse and move into a new larger townhouse, Cam had surgery, and many more activities have been going on in my life. I have also been having a hard time coming up with materials to blog about that are only “craft” centered. I am interested in expending my blog to a “life style” blog to allow myself more flexible. This way I can blog more about my adventures with Cam, cooking experiences, decorating my new home, and much more. I really want to make blogging my full time career, so I really need to come up with ways to stay focus and make time to blog more often.
I absolutely LOVE being at the beach.
My poor puppy after surgery had to where the cone of shame.
