I thought we will start blogmas out my sharing my Christmas/ winter themed coffee and tea bar. I’m a huge hot tea drink all year long, however in the winter months coffee seems to always be a top choice of beveragein the mornings. My favorite drink to make is a hot White Chocolate Mocha, I’ll have to share ther recipe with y’all soon.
I absolutely LOVE the way my little bakers rack turned out this year. The only new items that I bought were the mini flock trees ($3 each at Target). Everything else I shop my own Christmas decorations and home to pull this look together.
I’m very into traditional red, white, green, gold Christmas colors. The tray behind my Rae Dunn pieces was from the At Home store a couple years ago. I recorded a vlog this morning talking a little bit more detailed about my set if you are interested in watching.
I hope y’all enjoyed my blogmas post for today. Let me know what’s your favorite Holiday drink. I’m always up to try something new.
Today I’m sharing my formal Fall tablescape. If you follow me on YouTube or Instagram you have already seen this beautiful tablescape that I created. I get so inspired by all the beautiful designs that I see on Instagram that I just had to create my own master piece.
I personally like to use more traditional colors during the holidays. On my tablescape you will see more oranges, reds, greens, and golds.
This year I also decided to participate in Christina’s 2019 Fall & DIY Challenge! I love doing collabs with other people and was super excited about sharing my Fall Decor with everyone. This was an open challenge so anyone could join in. This was good for me sense I have such a small following 😭😂 on social media.
If you are interested in seeing what I came up with watch my vlog below. I would love it if y’all subscribe not only to my blog but also to my YouTube channel.
What did you think? I love that I was able to create my own napkin rings and majority of the decorations that I used were already in my collection. Leave me a comment below letting me know what was your favorite thing about my fall tablescape.
Thank y’all so much for coming over to my blog! Please come by next week to see an update on how its going with my son’s tot school!
How are y’all doing today? Today I’m sharing my summer kitchen decor. I’m seeing so many fall decorate with me on YouTube lately, however I’m still enjoying my summer decor . If you have been following me for awhile you know summer is my favorite season.
However while it’s still officially summer I want to show y’all what my summer decor looks like. I recorded a vlog showing y’all my summer decor and my thought process as I’m decorating. I also show y’all my updated Rae Dunn collection. I don’t go hunting for Rae Dunn everyday or go to store openings. I’m a busy mom of a toddler so my Rae Dunn hunting is very limited. This past Mother’s day Ken was very sweet and bought me some Rae Dunn pieces.
I have a list below of the various decor items that I can find links for. All of the Rae Dunn items were found at Marshalls or Homegoods. I get my decorative lemon platters from Homegoods. Let me know if you see something in the vlog that I forgot to link.
What do y’all think? I love how my kitchen looks. I ended adding some lemons to my decor and I also found the Happy Rae Dunn mug with the yellow interior after I filmed that vlog. I have some pictures below to show y’all. How things are looking now.
I will be taking a short break from the blog while we go on vacation to Jamaica!!!! When I come back I will continue my 2019 Back to School Series.
I had the opportunity to guest blog on http://www.virtualsixfiguremom.com/ today! I was sharing my personal tips and tricks on how to create a drink/ snack station in a home office setting, and wanted to come on here really quickly and share that link with y’all. I also recorded a vlog on my youtube channel (posted down below) showing y’all how I would put together a drink/ snack station in my home office. I hope y’all check out my guest blog post and watch the video. Let me know what y’all think in the comments below!
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. I decided to share my coffee/ tea bar with y’all today. I’ve love having our coffee, tea, & other drinks out of the kitchen. I’m a type of person who like clear counter tops and can’t stand unnecessary stuff in the kitchen. In this blog post I’m going to show you how I use our hutch (that I got for free) to display our drinks for easy access. I recorded a vlog earlier today showing y’all everything on the hutch. I hope y’all enjoy seeing how I use my hutch.
I love having my tea in mason jars! Not having to deal with the boxes or the paper bags that the tea is stored in makes my mornings a little bit smoother.
I only keep four different coffee flavors out to allow this hutch to be clutter free. I love shopping around my house and using what I already in a different way. The basket that the coffee is in, came from a gift basket set that was given to me years ago.
Keeping items such a spoons, instant coffee, and creamer (that doesn’t have to be refrigerated) helps make my morning rush less crazy.
We are grown here in this house and we don’t have any ‘human’ children. So I’m able to leave glasses low like this and not worry about little ones breaking it. I also like to keep my recipe books close by, for when I menu plan.
Once again I hope you enjoy my blog post and have a fabulous work week!
I hope your weekend went well, mine was very productive weekend. I did a lot of cleaning, organizing, redecorating, and a bunch of window shopping! Today I uploaded a vlog about my ‘Transitional Elegant Tablescape’. I love decorating my dinning table that Ken & I purchased from Worldmarket. In the vlog I talked about where I purchased the items that are on my dinning table. I have a Pinterest board called Home Sweet Home, where I pin most of the home décor that I have already purchased for our home. As well as home décor items that I would like to add to our home. Like I mentioned in the vlog a lot of the items I already had and now re-using in a different way.
I forget to mention that I purchased two of the silver charger plates from Worldmarket. I used them at the head of the table. @maionlovenotes
I love to use fresh flowers however you can use fake flowers if you want to. This elephant teapot that I got from Worldmarket is super cute on my dinning table. @marionlovenotes
For those of you who don’t drink wine these lovely bottles of sparkling water and soda are the perfect choice for you! I hope you enjoy my transitional tablescape!
Feel free to check me out on all of my social media sites @marionlovenotes to see more.
P.S. I almost forgot to mention that Worldmarket has Halloween theme wine bottles, that would look great in a Halloween inspired tablescape. These wine bottles are a perfect touch to any adult Halloween party that you may be hosting are even a great hostess gift to give when going to a party!
