{2018} Day 6 of Vlogmas| Baking Cookies for Santa Claus

Hey friends! I hope y’all had a lovely Christmas with family or friends! We had so much fun her at the house with just the three of us. My son was able to open his gifts worth no rush. His family really SPOILED him this year. We are truly blessed and thankfully.

On Christmas eve we went to go see the Grinch at the moives as a family. Tripp loved eatting popcorn and enjoyed the music played during the moive.

That night we decided to bake cookies for Santa Claus. We accidentally left the cookies in the oven too long so they got a little bit crispy. However these sugar cookies are so yummy! We put white chocolate chips in our cookies instead of m&ms. I will leave the link to the recipe below. Let me know if you decide to make these Grinch cookies too!

{2018} Day 3| 12 Days of Christmas | new Christmas topper and yummy soup

Good evening friends,

Tonight I have a Christmas Target unboxing to share with y’all and a super yummy soup recipe. As y’all can see in the vlog the Christmas tree topper lights up and show multiple colored lights on the ceiling. My son really enjoyed watching the lights spin around on the ceiling.

My veggie bean soup recipe is the perfect 1 pot meal to share with the whole family with some yummy corn bread & a glass of wine. My current favorite wine to drink is the Stella Rosa. If you like sweet wines you will definitely enjoy this one.

The few things that I did differently from my previous recipe is;

  • Beef stew tips instead of sausage
  • 1 can of Progresso Tomato Roasted Red Pepper soup
  • Add chopped mushrooms

*I didn’t have any half & half, leeks, or rosemary on hand but they would be yummy to add to the soup.

I served the soup on top of some rice with cornbread on the side. It was soooo good.

Let me know if you are going try out this recipe. Also share your favorite 1 pot meal to serve during the hoildays in the comments section below.

{2018} Day 2| 12 Days of Christmas | My Christmas Tree

This year I decided to have a royal themed Christmas tree. We purchased our 7 foot tree from a local tree lot run by a super sweet family. I absolutely LOVE how it turned out. It took me 3 days to finish mainly because, I would decorate the tree after I get off work & my baby to pleasure in breaking my ornaments. So I finally gave up putting more ornaments on the tree. However less is more and my Christmas tree turned out fabulous regardless.

This is our 7 foot tree before any Christmas decorations. There is nothing like having a real Christmas tree. It is nice to have a fake Christmas tree so you are able to decorate early and have a tree up by Thanksgiving. In my family the magic of the Christmas season starts when we go to our favorite Christmas tree lot and pick out our Christmas tree. I adore our Christmas tree.

This year we got our Christmas ribbons from At Home. I love how the red and gold look on the tree together. I am very much into tradtional Christmas colors.

Isn’t she lovely!

I hope you enjoy my day 2 of my 12 Days of Christmas series.

Xo,

Marion
