Bye-bye Craft Room…Hello Baby Boy Nursery

Happy Halloween Y’all!

I know it’s been awhile sense I’ve blog about anything on here. Its really hard when you work full time & pregnant.  Yes I’m pregnant and having my 1st baby boy! 39 weeks and 5 days to be exact, so I’m ready to pop any day now. I’m currently not working any more sense I’m so close to having this baby. I wanted to record a quick vlog of my son’s nursery.

His nursery use to be my craft room which was fully furnished. So it took a lot of work (and tears) to get it looking like a baby boy nursery.  I decided to not to go for the typical boy theme room with blue walls. I wanted it to be simple and easy to transform into another room later down the road if need be.

I spent a lot of time watching baby boy nurseries and looking up ideas on Pinterest. Honestly I didn’t see anything that I really liked or felt inspired by. Most of the nurseries that I saw were over the top and was jammed pack with a bunch of expensive baby products. My inspiration came from Ken who loves cars and wants to fly airplanes one day. So decided to go with an airplane theme which kind of turned into a transportation themed room for his nursery.

Majority of the items in the room were used so it didn’t cost us much to pull his nursery together.  We were okay with not having brand new top of the line baby products.  As long as the baby products are in good shape and not recalled we didn’t mind.

There are a few items that I would like to add to his room. Such as a small rug, pictures of him, large ruler to mount on the wall to measure his height, and a night light. I still need to finish sewing his curtians too. I really tried to stick to the basics especially sense the room is really small.

Below I have listed all the links and the places where we bought the baby products that are our son’s nursery (that was not gifted or used).  If you have any questions about anything in the nursery feel free to ask in the comment section below. I’ll do my best to answered them.  Keep in mind I’m 39 weeks and five days pregnant and baby boy might be popping out soon.

Xoxo,

Marion
